Nashville is one of those rare cities that has a small town feel while offering the benefits and amenities of a larger metropolitan city.  I am constantly amazed at all that our great city has to offer - from music, to restaurants, to ural events.  There truly is something for everyone.   Much of what Nashville has to offer is shared by word of mouth - and that's when having lived here for so many years really helps.  My friends and family often joke that I know everyone in Nashville (think "6 Degrees of Julie Norfleet").  While that may be a bit of stretch - I do often at least know someone who knows someone ...you get the idea.  So I get to hear about all the hidden gems in dining, shopping and special events before the word seems to spread.  I have put together a list of some of my favorite things to do and places to go.  This page will be updated all the time so please check back often.  And if you think I'm missing an amazing place that just must be shared, email me and let me know and I'll be sure to add it!

The Nashville Public Library (Downtown) - Newcomers and locals alike need to take a moment to venture downtown and check out our library!  It is amazing!  And if you have children, especially toddlers, the storytime/puppet show is a must. 

The Broadway Drive In Movie Theatre (Dickson) - Don't miss one of Nashville's last drive in theatres! Complete with cheeseburgers, popcorn, snowcones, etc. - all of this plus a great low price for your entire family to watch current first run movies outside!
